The Former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to the reopening of Nigeria's air and land borders with Niger Republic, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While reacting, the former lawmaker made it known that Nigerians are presently expecting the prices of rice and cement to fall, as a result of the reopening of these borders by President Bola Tinubu.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Wednesday night, while reacting to the report. He wrote: "The borders are opened, we are expecting the fall of Rice and Cement."

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday announced the reopening of Nigeria's land and air borders with Niger Republic. The president also used the opportunity to lift all the restrictions and bans imposed on Niger Republic by the Nigerian government and the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS.
