Kris Kristofferson, the iconic country music artist and Hollywood actor, has passed away at the age of 88, as confirmed by his family. He died peacefully at his home in Maui on September 28, surrounded by loved ones.
In a heartfelt statement shared on social media, Kristofferson’s family expressed their sorrow, saying, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Kris Kristofferson, has passed away. We are grateful for our time with him and appreciate the love he received over the years. When you see a rainbow, know he’s smiling down on us.”

Kristofferson enjoyed a remarkable music career that began in the late 1960s, along with a successful acting career featuring roles in films like *Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore* and *A Star Is Born*.
