Vinicius Junior has reacted to Real Madrid youngster Vinicius Tobias' Instagram post, announcing that he will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this season.
The 20-year-old's contract with Los Blancos runs out at the end of June, after which he will be looking for opportunities elsewhere. During his time at the club, Tobias made just one senior appearance, which lasted 88 minutes.With his limited inclusion in the senior team, it comes as no surprise that the right-back is seeing the exit doors. Posting about his departure from Real Madrid, Tobias wrote:
"It was two nice years of a lot of learning, experience, and growth. To the technical staff, directors and colleagues, my eternal gratitude. Just thankful for the opportunity to wear this shirt."
Vinicius Junior never played alongside Tobias in a competitive fixture for Los Blancos but has rubbed shoulders with the defender on the training ground. Reacting to his heartfelt Instagram post, the Brazil international commented:
Vinicius Tobias made 61 appearances across competitions for Real Madrid Castilla, bagging eight assists while failing to find the net even once. He came to the Spanish capital from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2022 and is leaving after failing to make an impact with the first team.
